This 17-21 week running program (depending on start date) will provide you with an easy to read, periodised training plan to prepare you for the 42.2km event in October.

Suitable for all participants of the Melbourne Marathon no matter what your current fitness level.

Program includes:

  • 5 training blocks (“introductory”, “base #1”, “base #2”, “pre-competition”, “competition”)

  • Training intensity guide

  • Taper period

Note: Sports watch is required to complete program, as running intensities are prescribed based off percentage of max heart rate.

Program commences on the 27/05/24 and cut off date is 17/06/24.
